Our philosophy is to think concentrically about the food we eat and serve to our guests. We first try to get what is available from our immediate area. Our eggs are from just down the street.

Then we look in our district. Lots of our produce and all of our coffees are grown in the the Ka'u district.

Then we try Volcano and South Kona. We get mangoes from South Kona and our bread comes from Volcano.

Then we look on island. We can get strawberries grown in Waimea and mushrooms grown in Hamakua.

Then we supplement our diet with things from hawaii. Much of our homemade jams come from a friend on O`ahu.

We go easy on processed foods, but eventually we do end up shopping at the store for things we can't find otherwise.
